I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a double major in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. I taught for several years. I went on to marry my college sweetheart. My husband is the most wonderful man in the world, and has stood by my side encouraging me to shoot for the stars. We have two beautiful boys who have been the center of my world and inspiration for the spoon and book. I taught in the classroom for 4 years until I quit to stay home with my two boys. During this time, I was a parent educator with the Parents As Teachers program and I did a local parenting segment weekly with WDAF Fox 4 in Kansas City. I am currently back in the classroom, as well as promoting my new invention and book.

I am very passionate about what I do. I want to reach as many people as I can to help their parenting experience be a wonderful one. Parenting is the hardest most important job in the world and I hope I can inspire you to take the extra steps to get involved in your children's lives and encourage a positive, fun loving family experience.
